Tottenham boss changes from Ruthless to Perfect
While some Chelsea supporters are still pining after the 'Special One', Tottenham's faithful is beginning to grow accustomed to life under the 'Perfect One'.
Juande Ramos moved to English shores a month after Jose Mourinho departed the capital, with the Carling Cup already safety deposited in the White Hart Lane trophy cabinet.
Upon his arrival in North London, Ramos was not slow to make wholesale changes, with the Spaniard less than enamoured with the coaching methods and dietary requirements implemented under the previous regime.
Like Mourinho, Ramos has a reputation for not being afraid of bruising egos and making brave tactical decisions, and it is such a forthright managerial style that has earned him the 'Perfect One' moniker.
"In the club they call me the 'Perfect One'," said Ramos in Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
"It was the press that called me the 'Ruthless One' when I changed certain players who were untouchables. It's nothing more than a silly little name.
"We did none of the things that the team was doing before our arrival.
"If they used to train on one pitch and leave through a certain door, then we changed the training to another pitch and sent them out through a different door.
"We changed timetables, diet, everything. We wanted them to forget everything from before, like it never existed. When you want to change something you have to break with routine."
