Defender Erik Hagen is unavailable for Wigan.

The Norway international, on loan until the end of the season from Zenit St Petersburg, is sidelined through illness.

With the exception of Hagen and Swedish left-back Erik Edman, who faces a long-term recovery from a knee injury, boss Steve Bruce has a full squad to choose from.

Goalkeeper Paul Robinson (ankle) is unlikely to feature in the Premier League clash, while Gareth Bale (foot), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) and Ledley King (knee) will miss the rest of the season.

England Under-21 midfielder Jamie O'Hara is back in full training after a bruised foot.
