Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes is poised to make his comeback from a knee operation in the FA Cup tie against Tottenham on Sunday.
Scholes, 33, could be named as substitute at Old Trafford after a three-month absence.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson said on Friday: "Paul starts training today at a competitive level. His rehabilitation has gone really well.
"It is just a question of how well he comes through the session but he could be on the bench."
Anderson is available again after missing the victory against Reading because of a domestic matter.
Gary Neville (ankle) and Louis Saha (knee) remain sidelined through injury for the fourth round match.
Tottenham's unsettled right-back Pascal Chimbonda is suspended.
Striker Darren Bent is still out with a knee injury and is hoping to return to training next week.
Benoit-Assou Ekotto (knee), Gareth Bale (foot) and Anthony Gardner (ankle) remain sidelined, while Didier Zokora is on international duty.
