Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he needs to find someone who can 'handle the pressure' of taking penalties following another failed attempt against Bolton.

Jermain Defoe was taken off spot-kick duties after being denied by Casper Ankergren during last month's FA Cup draw with Leeds.

Tom Huddlestone stepped up in Sunday's fifth round clash at the Reebok Stadium but Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen repelled his poor effort.

Spurs had to settle for a 1-1 draw and Redknapp concedes that his side cannot afford to keep squandering such good goalscoring opportunities.

The manager now plans to have a rethink about who should take Tottenham's next penalty.

"I need to find someone who can handle the pressure of putting it away from the spot," he said.

"If we'd scored I think it would have been game over.

"But we have a habit of missing penalties at the moment and it's becoming a bit disturbing."

Redknapp believes Tottenham deserved to take their place in the quarter-finals after battling back from 1-0 down, although he was impressed by Bolton's performance in the opening 45 minutes.

"Bolton were terrific in the first half and we were poor. We didn't get out of the blocks," he said.

"They were up and at us and we couldn't cope with it. They were knocking balls forward, winning them and backing up the play.

"We didn't get the chance to play how we like to play, they didn't allow us to.

"At half-time we sorted a few things out and we were much, much the better team in the second half and deserved to win the game."
